OUR STORY

We, at Advaita Bodhi, work primarily on four pillars—Digital Inclusion, Financial Inclusion, Quality education for rural communities and Rural Entrepreneurship. As an integral digital action organization, Advaita Bodhi Foundation believes in the creation of information empowerment, equitable communities by providing digital access to information, knowledge and contextual capacity.

We Move

Our goal is to make technology easily accessible to the rural masses, to empower rural women, youth, differently abled and the elderly through a functional digital literacy, media literacy and digital upskilling. For the future generation, we aim to make global-standard education accessible and affordable.

Our Journey So Far

2021

ADVAITA BODHI IS FOUNDED

Started with frequent digital literacy workshops in Nadia districts. Enrolled 180 youth to train on applied digital literacy. Dr Saikat Maitra, Vice Chancellor of MAKAUT, inaugurated our first Jana Pragati Udyog. More than twenty successful students have now started their own Common Service Centres in respective villages.

January 2022

SPECIAL DIGITAL LITERACY TRAINING FOR WEAVERS

Trained a batch of weavers from Nadia district on selling their crafts online. They have listed themselves as sellers on Amazon and works without middlemen. Earns better than before.
